Enroute Jazz has performed at several Jazz Festivals, Arts and Crafts
Shows, Corporate Events, Holiday Gatherings, Cocktail Parties, Wedding
Rehearsal Dinners, Ceremonies, Receptions, Business After Hours,
Grand Openings, and Fundraisers. Other performances include state
government and civic events for the City of Raleigh, as well as
Cary, Morrisville, Apex, Goldsboro, Benson, and Kinston.

Enroute Jazz has been performing professionally for more than

How
far will the group travel to perform?
The usual service area for the group is within a one-hour radius
of the Triangle. However, Enroute Jazz has performed as far south
as Savannah, Georgia and as far north as Washington, DC. To inquire

is the fee to book Enroute Jazz?
The fee depends on the location of the event, the length of the
performance, and the number of musicians requested. Please call

How
many members are in the group?
The core of Enroute Jazz is a trio consisting of vocals, piano,
and double bass. Other professional musicians may be added to
the trio for a larger ensemble. If you plan to provide an area
for dancing for your guests, we highly recommend that you add
drums. Other instruments may also be added as desired.
What
instruments are available in the group?
Enroute Jazz regularly performs with drums, saxophone, trumpet,
and guitar, as well as other instruments as requested. Let Enroute
Jazz know what combination you are looking for to fit your special
event's music needs.
Does
the group have their own sound system?
Yes. Enroute Jazz owns and operates two state-of-the-art sound
systems.
How
long does the group perform?
Enroute Jazz is typically booked to play 2 - 3 hours per booking.
Will
the group play longer than 3 hours, if requested?
Yes. Additional fees will be added to performances over 3 hours.
How
often does the group take a break?
Enroute Jazz usually takes two breaks during a 3-hour performance.
The first 15-minute break occurs after the first one-hour and
then every 45 minutes thereafter. The breaks are included in the
total performance time.
Does
the group provide background music when taking breaks?
Yes. Enroute Jazz provides music during their breaks by playing
CD's over their sound system.
May
we play our own CD's on your system?
Yes. You may also rent the Enroute Jazz state-of-the-art sound
system for a nominal fee if you wish to have your own dance party.
May
we use your microphone to make announcements?
Yes. With advance notice, we can provide a wireless microphone
for your use for toasting and making announcements.
Will
you make announcements for us?
Yes. A member of Enroute Jazz will be happy to act as your personal
MC as needed.

Governor's Club, University Club, Prestonwood Country Club, MacGregor

Center, Dorton Arena, The Jimmy "V" Classic, The Duke
Children's Classic, the J.C. Raulston Arboretum, the Museum of
History for the Social Party for the Governor's Inauguration,
the Town of Cary's Laze Days, the N.C. Art Museum, the Exploris
Museum, and the Kinston Arts Center to name only a few over the

does the group typically wear during a performance?
Formal attire is standard for Enroute Jazz unless otherwise specified.
Is
a deposit required and when is the balance due?
Yes. A $300 deposit is required to book Enroute Jazz and to secure
a specific date. Final payment is required one week prior to the
performance date.
What
is your refund policy?
Enroute Jazz will refund your $300 deposit as long as your cancellation
notice is received no less than sixty days prior to the event.
Do
you have a song list?
Yes. A song list is available and can be viewed on this website.
Can
I request a special tune?
With enough notice, Enroute Jazz can usually accommodate special
requests.
What
is required at the location of the performance?
Enroute Jazz usually requires an 8'x12' minimum area that is within
20 feet an electrical outlet. If the performance is outside, suitable
cover and a ground fault circuit protected outlet will be required.
If the temperature drops below 60 degrees, an outside performance
may not be possible.
